Fixed Term Lectureship in Engineering Science: Electronic and Information Engineering

University of Oxford - Mansfield College

Mansfield College invites applications for a one-year Fixed Term Lectureship in Electrical Engineering, 1 October 2018-30 September 2019, to cover the sabbatical leave of Professor Vicente Grau.

The duties of the post include: teaching four hours a week of tutorials averaged over each eight-week term and participating in the organisation of Engineering at Mansfield, including the annual undergraduate Admissions exercise, alongside Mansfield’s Fellow in Engineering Professor Sinan Acikgoz, and three Lecturers in Engineering. The successful candidate, who should have completed their doctorate, or be in the later stage of their graduate studies, will be expected to teach the Electronic and Information Engineering courses in the first two years of the MEng in Engineering Science degree (P2 and A2.)

The salary for the post is based on the Stipendiary Lecturers’ scale for the four hour lectureship £8,832 - £9,933 depending on experience. The post carries full dining rights and the Lecturer will have a shared teaching room in College.
