Postdoctoral Researcher in Image Analysis of Dynamic Scenes at the IT University of Copenhagen

The IT University of Copenhagen invites strong and highly motivated individuals to apply for a full time Post Doc position starting 15 August 2021 for the duration of 18 months.

The successful candidate will be working within image analysis, computer vision, and machine learning with an application to image modelling and the analysis of dynamic scenes. The methods will also be developed and applied in the analysis of mental health from video. In addition to research, a moderate amount of teaching is expected within the areas of machine learning and/or image analysis.

The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in education and research, teaching experience in machine learning, and experience in supervising students. The candidate ideally has a PhD degree in image modelling and analysis, and excellent study record in information science, engineering mathematics, computer science, and computational imaging and/or life science. The candidate should also have excellent written and spoken English skills.

General information

The IT University of Copenhagen (ITU) is a teaching and research-based tertiary institution concerned with information technology (IT) and the opportunities it offers. The IT University has more than 160 full-time Faculty members. Research and teaching in information technology span all academic activities which involve computers including computer science, information and media sciences, humanities and social sciences, business impact and the commercialization of IT.

Salary

Appointment and salary will be in accordance with the Ministry of Finance's agreement with the Danish Confederation of Professional Associations (AC).
