A postdoctoral scientist position is available in the Immunobiology Lab of Dr. Denise Faustman. Our lab is part of the Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School and is located in Boston.

We do basic research into the mechanisms of Type 1 diabetes and other autoimmune diseases, with the goal of developing new treatments and eventual cures. The current focus is on the molecular mechanisms of TNF and TNF receptors and their role in autoimmune disease and we focus exclusively on the human immune system offering a rare opportunity to expand credentials beyond typical mouse experiments.

We are currently looking for a Postdoc with a broad background in human molecular immunology, cell biology and autoimmunity. The successful candidate will have an interest in translational research and will be hard working, of impeccable integrity, have excellent past training and be able to learn new methods and procedures quickly. We will perform detailed reference and credentials verification.
