　　Job Description

　　The Beckman Research Institute is look for a talented Postdoctoral Fellow to study personalized cancer vaccine in the laboratory of Dr. Larry W Kwak, Deputy Director, City of Hope Comprehensive Cancer Center.

　　Depending on the qualifications and interests of the applicant, the research focus may range from developing high-throughput approaches for immune profiling and immune monitoring using patient peripheral blood, bone marrow, serum, and tumor tissue samples. The lab will analyze changes in T cell phenotypes by T cell receptor sequencing analysis and single cell RNA sequencing in the cancer vaccine patient samples.

　　Basic education, experience and skills required for consideration:

　　A Ph.D. degree in life or biomedical sciences, or a related discipline is required;

　　The candidate will ideally have considerable experience in the fields of immunology and cancer biology, and molecular biology;

　　Qualified candidates should be highly motivated to pursue a career in the reproductive biology field and should have an established track record of success evidenced by first author publications;

　　Must have a good command of the English language.

　　Preferred education experience and skills:

　　Expertise in at least one of the following areas is strongly recommended:

　　Molecular Biology: molecular cloning, vector construction, lentiviral technology, PCR, qRT-PCR, protein biochemistry, and RNA synthesis.

　　Immunology: Retro and lentiviral production and transduction, flow cytometry, fluorescence microscopy, cell culture, and T cell-killing assays.

　　Animal work: xenograft and syngeneic tumor mouse models, blood and animal surgery, tail-vein injections, whole body imaging (IVIS), and breeding.
