　　The Indiana University School of Medicine has exciting an opportunity as Postdoctoral Fellow in the joint lab of Drs. Anita Bellail and Chunhai “Charlie” Hao in the Department of Pathology & Laboratory Medicine.

 

　　The lab is investigating the fundamental principles in ubiquitination and sumoylation for discovery and development of targeted small molecule drugs in clinical treatment of cancers and neurological diseases. Recently, the team has discovered and patented small molecule drugs, which are currently under \development as clinical drugs. The lab is currently sponsored by NIH grants.

 

　　Qualifications and requirements:

 

　　- We are looking for self-motivated, enthusiastic, career-minded researchers to join the team at this exciting time in cutting-edge scientific research and new drug discovery.

 

　　- The minimum requirement is a PhD degree in molecular, cellular biology, biochemistry, genetics, and/or cancer biology for the postdoctoral fellow position. Newly graduated PhD and postdoctoral fellow within the first 3 years are encouraged to apply.

 

　　- The position is funded by NIH grants. The fellow will receive salary and benefits according to NIH salary standards and increment every year with the starting salary of the first year postdoc fellow at $47,484 plus IU benefits.
