The salary will be paid at Grade 6, £33,518 per annum, plus £2,923 per annum London Allowance.

This post will be a fixed-term contract for 4 years 6 months.

This is a full-time 100 % full time equivalent

Fiona Watt’s laboratory comprises approximately 25 research staff and visiting scientists, and is internationally recognised for research on adult and pluripotent stem cells. Two postdoctoral bioinformatician positions are available to explore cell state transitions using a range of datasets generated from in vitro and in vivo experimental models and as part of the Human Cell Atlas initiative (see, for example, Mishra et al PMID 29043977; Donati et al PMID 28504705; Ghahramani et al PMID 29334988; Philippeos et al PMID 29391249; Liakath-Ali et al PMID 29643507).The successful applicants will have a sound knowledge of statistical methods and models and a strong background in developing computational methods tailored to specific applications.

The selection process will include a panel interview, and a presentation.
