Postdoctoral fellow in nanomedicine : Baltimore, MD, United States
We currently have an opening for a postdoctoral fellow in the Center for Nanomedicine at Johns Hopkins University. The candidate may become involved in several areas of interest:
Novel treatments for inflammatory bowel disease (IBD): to become involved in this area, candidates MUST have at least 2 years experience with preclinical animal models of IBD. Candidates preferably have prior knowledge of gastrointestinal tract physiology, microscopy, and molecular biology.
Nanomedicine in women's health: to become involved in this area, candidates preferably have some combination of expertise in fluorescent imaging, nanotechnology, molecular biology, preclinical animal models, microbiome analysis, and culturing techniques.
Nanomedicine-based therapeutic delivery for treating neurological diseases: to become involved in this area, candidates preferably have some prior knowledge of the central nervous system. Preferred skills include fluorescence microscopy, preclinical animal models, molecular biology, and immunology.
Nanomedicine-based therapeutic delivery for treating ocular diseases: to become involved in this area, candidates preferably have some prior knowledge of the ocular physiology. Preferred skills include fluorescence microscopy, preclinical animal models, molecular biology.
