Research Fellow in EEG Research Methods
University of Leeds
Job Description
Overview of the Role
Are you an ambitious neuroscientist looking for your next challenge? Do you have a background in electroencephalogram (EEG) research methods? Do you want to contribute to one of the largest EEG projects in the world and in the process, help improve research practices in human neuroscience?
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Research Fellow to join our team to support the delivery of the #EEGManyLabs project, an international collaborative effort to replicate 20 of the most influential EEG experiments. Thanks to support from the UK Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council, the post holder will take the lead on building a suite of open-source tools that allow future scientists to leverage the datasets and learnings from the #EEGManyLabs project to create a strong methodological foundation that increases the credibility of EEG research. This is a unique, once-in-a-career opportunity to play a leading on a project that has the potential to transform the everyday practices of EEG scientists.
As Research Fellow your main duties will include:
Contributing to the training of both undergraduate and postgraduate students, where appropriate, including assisting with the supervision of projects in areas relevant to the project.
These duties provide a framework for the role and should not be regarded as a definitive list. Other reasonable duties may be required consistent with the grade of the post.
