Applications are invited for a postdoctoral research associate position to work on the project “Change point detection and localization in high- dimension: Theory and methods”.
This position is part of a DMS-EPSRC funded grant to develop novel theories and practicable methods for change point analysis in high-dimensional and nonparametric settings, for both offline and online problems, which are applicable to complex, big data problems. The grant is jointly held by US Principal Investigators, Prof. Alessandro Rinaldo (CMU) and Dr Oscar Madrid (UCLA), and UK Principal Investigator, Dr Yi Yu (Warwick). The post holder will be working at the UK side.
Start dates will be agreed with the appointed candidates.

If you are near submission or have recently submitted your PhD but have not yet had it conferred, any offers of employment will be made as Research Assistant at the top of level 5 of the University grade structure (£31,411). Upon receipt of evidence of the successful award of your PhD, you will be promoted to Research Fellow on the first point of level 6 of the University grade structure (£32,348).
