Offer description

Research within the ANR BioPsychAnimEx project in interaction with the main investigator of the project, AntonineNicoglou. The first phase will focus on the analysis of the archives of the French scientist Henri Laborit, discoverer of Chlorpromazine, considered as the first psychotropic drug. This research is part of an analysis of the history of the first uses of animal experimentation in psychopharmacology. Another axis of the project involves a more privileged interaction with the biologists and clinicians of the project in order to identify alternative and complementary protocols to those existing in pre- clinical research and to identify possible ethical rules for the use of animal experimentation in biopsychiatry.

Main Activities

Participation in all project axes and interdisciplinary collaborations.

Associated Activities

Work on archives. Organization of activities and events for the project (seminar, national and international conferences). Participation in national and international conferences to present the results of the project. Writing articles for publication in national and international journals in history and/or philosophy of science as well as in journals/books for the general audience

Type : CDD

Duration : 2 years and 6 months

Salary : Depending on the level of experience of the candidate

Specific Requirements

As an INSERM agent, the postdoc will have to comply with the INSERM requirements (medical examination, etc.) in order to be hired.

Fluency is a perequiste (especially for the analysis of archives)
