We are seeking a postdoctoral fellow with expertise in vascular biology, cell and molecular biology, biochemistry, and metabolism/metabolomics. The project will focus on novel metabolic interactions among heterotypic vascular cells that affect vascular disease propensity. The postdoctoral fellow will be pursuing metabolic experiments, including routine metabolic assays and Seahorse assays of glycolysis, mitochondrial function, and pentose phosphate pathway activity, as well as metabolomics and metabolic flux experiments.
