The University of Memphis, School of Public Health is seeking applicants for a postdoctoral research fellowship in HIV prevention, care, stigma reduction in the Division of Social and Behavioral Sciences (SBS). The School of Public Health has national prominence in SBS, with research funding from NIH, CDC, other federal and state agencies, private foundations and industry. There is substantial collaborative research with other entities on and off campus.

Minimum Position Qualifications

Doctoral degree in public health, psychology, sociology, education, social work or related field from an accredited college or university with specialization in social science is required.

Special Conditions

The department is especially interested in applicants who are authors or co- authors of peer-reviewed journal manuscripts; who have experience delivering presentations and trainings to diverse audiences; and who have training and experience conducting quantitative and/or qualitative research and data analysis

The initial appointment is for one year with possible renewal, depending on availability of funding.
