Description

The Centre for Business in Society (CBiS) is a research hub for the Faculty of Business and Law at Coventry University. Through understanding the impact of organisations' activities, behaviours and policies, our research promotes responsibility and inclusion, seeking better outcomes for economies, environments, societies and the individual (www. coventry.ac.uk/research/areas-of-research/business-in-society/).

There are four research clusters within CBiS, exploring (a) sustainability within supply chains, the circular economy and ethical consumption, (b) data in organisations and society; covering big data, the digital economy, cyber resilience, data privacy and strategic decision-making; (c) economic development; including entrepreneurship, inclusive growth, workplace practice, urban renewal and regeneration, and the support of disadvantaged communities; and (d) responsible personal finance, savings and investments, FDI and economic exchanges.

CBiS requires an expert in quantitative analysis able to work on projects with a social science perspective, to support complex statistical analysis and modelling on a number or projects. We are not seeking a generalist. The post is suitable for someone with a background in statistical analysis, data analysis, mathematical modelling or economic data analysis. The post-holder will support the work of CBiS's researchers across all four research clusters, on projects where advanced quantitative and statistical skills are required. The post-holder will also be supported in undertaking their own research.
