General description

The Institute of Chemical Research of Catalonia (ICIQ) seeks a Postdoctoral Researcher. This position will be funded by the European Research Council via Prof. Antonio M. Echavarren (ERC-2018-ADG)

ICIQ is committed to performing excellent research at the frontier of knowledge in the broad area of chemistry (Catalysis, Artificial Photosynthesis, Activation of Small Molecules, Photovoltaics, Functional Molecular Assemblies and Chemical Biology, from either theoretical or experimental perspectives). ICIQ is looking for a motivated Postdoctoral researcher to work in the group of Prof Antonio M. Echavarren. The successful candidate will work on a project on the synthesis and optimization of new chiral metal catalysts.

Responsibilities

The candidate will work experimentally in the preparation of new metal catalysts and on the optimization of their performance in new cyclization reactions.
