Description

The University of Plymouth (UoP) has an exciting opportunity to be part of a new, progressive, and cutting-edge area of research as part of its Centre for Health Technology. The role will primally contribute towards the E-Health Productivity and Innovation in Cornwall (EPIC2) & Healthy Ageing through Innovation in Rural Europe (HAIRE) projects.

You will undertake research and evaluation, qualitative and quantitative data analysis, plan and deliver workshops and stakeholder events, undertake fieldwork at the pilot sites across the UK & EU (mainly BE, FR and NL), plan and write academic papers and reports as well as material for policy audience, and attend and present at relevant conferences.

You will possess a relevant PhD in Social Science/Psychology discipline or a related field of study and have a track record of working collaboratively with a diverse range of project partners. Knowledge of Social Networks methodology or the ability to learn it quickly is highly desirable. Experience in eHealth and a knowledge of Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly will be a major advantage.

The is a full-time position working 37 hours per week on a fixed-term basis until 31 March 2023 due to funding by the European Regional Development Fund (EPIC2) and Interreg 2 Seas (HAIRE).
