A postdoc position is available in the Catalysis Theory Center in the Physics Department of the Technical University of Denmark.

Responsibilities and qualifications The position focuses on theoretical method development and computational catalyst discovery for heterogeneous reactions for H2O, CO2 and N2 reduction. The position involves close collaboration with experimentalists.

Your PhD is in chemistry, physics, materials science or a similar field. You have a comprehensive understanding of heterogeneous, homogeneous and/or electro-catalysis. You have extensive experience in density functional theory calculations and preferably with kinetic analysis and machine learning methods.

Salary and terms of employment The appointment will be based on the collective agreement with the Danish Confederation of Professional Associations. The allowance will be agreed upon with the relevant union. The postdoc appointment is for one year starting 1 August 2021 or soon thereafter.
