As a postdoc, you will work with research in design within the research programmes Body and Space and ArcIntex with a focus on sustainable development in fashion design through the development of design methods and design variables. The work tasks include collaborating with other researchers in order to carry out research in accordance with the research programmes. Practical work tasks include experimental development of design methods and design variables with consequences for sustainable development as well as publishing and communication of artistic results in relevant channels. The work tasks also include some teaching, as well as supervision of students at the Master's level corresponding to a maximum of 20% of full-time.

Qualifications For the postdoctoral appointment, we require a completed doctoral degree in design with a focus on fashion as well as knowledge and understanding of sustainable development in fashion design through design with a focus on design methods and textile techniques. You as an applicant must also demonstrate innovation in your research and artistic work, have experience of collaboration with academia and with the surrounding society when it comes to education, research, and artistic activities, and also have experience of supervising degree projects and teaching in fashion design.

Further, we are looking for someone with good collaboration skills, an ability to work independently, as well as the ability to prioritise among work tasks. As a person, you are structured and have good ability to communicate in English, both speaking and writing.

It is a merit for this position to have experience of publishing artistic research results in relevant exhibitions, journals, conferences, or equivalent and experience of working in similar projects as well as having international networks in education and research.
