UCD Post-doctoral Research Fellow Level 1 or 2, School of Biology and Environmental Science, Fixed-term 3 year post

Applications are invited for a temporary post of a UCD Post-doctoral Research Fellow Level 1 or 2 within School of Biology and Environmental Science.

This project is focused on the testing and characterisation of several previously identified fungal and bacterial microorganisms that reside endophytically in cereals and may be of agricultural importance due to their abilities to offset various biotic and abiotic stresses. Microorganism application methods, constituent parts of consortiums as well as modes of action will be elucidated to generate an effective and chemical-free field- based application.

Note: This research is funded by Irish Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine Research Stimulus

Fixed salary: €38,631 per annum
