Main responsibilities: - Code development within the Quantum ESPRESSO package. - Development and assessment of advanced DFT functionals (RPA/RPAx) - Numerical simulations of materials - Guidance of Master/PhD students

We are looking for a post-doctoral researcher to join the "Quantum Theory of Matter" team at IMPMC (Sorbonne University). The postdoc will participate in the theoretical and computational development of beyond-RPA approaches for studying charge-density wave instabilities, metal-insulator transitions and superconductivity.

The post-doc will join the "Quantum Theory of Matter" team at l'Institut de Minéralogie, de Physique des Matériaux et de Cosmochimie (IMPMC). IMPMC is a multidisciplinary research institute of condensed matter physics, Earth science and biology. It is located in central Paris within the Sorbonne University. Eligibility criteria

Required skills: - PhD degree in physics - Background in solid state physics - Good programming skills (Fortran, Python) - Ability to work independently and collaboratively - Good oral and written skills in English
