Responsibilities
The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center Department of Dermatology is seeking an investigator to conduct research regarding the biology of melanoma. The ideal candidate would be: a) working on a fundamental problem concerning the cellular and/or molecular biology of melanoma using a combination of biochemical, genetic, and/or bioinformatics methodologies; and b) committed to establishing an independent laboratory recognized for its expertise in melanoma research.
Minimal qualifications for the position: MD, MD/PhD, or equivalent degree; several years of highly productive postdoctoral research experience; and a series of specific aims relevant to melanoma research. Academic rank will be commensurate with experience.
