PostDoc (m/f/d) for Mass Spectrometry

The project

The position is embedded in a project “Cancer Scout” funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF), which deals with the combination of machine learning processes with proteomic, genomic and image data. The successful applicant is responsible for carrying out proteomic mass spectrometric measurements of tissue samples and for managing the mass spectrometry equipment park.

We are looking for

• scientifically qualified candidate with a PhD e. g. for molecular medicine, biology, biochemistry or a comparable qualification with high self-motivation and great interest in proteomic-mass spectrometric research

• the work will include advanced proteomic-mass spectrometric analysis of human tissue samples, so that previous experience in operating a mass spectrometer in a field of bioanalytics, preferably protein analysis, is necessary
