The Departments of Physics and Astronomy, within the College of Arts and Sciences, seek Post Doctoral Scholars to join our team in the OSU Center for Cosmology and AstroParticle Physics (CCAPP). The College of Arts and Sciences is the largest college and the academic heart of the university. The College hosts 81 majors. With 38 departments, 20+ world-class research centers, and more than 2,000 faculty and staff members, students have the unique opportunity to study with the best artists, scholars, and scientists in their field. Appointments will be three years. Applicants will also be considered for other post doctoral positions. In addition to competitive salaries, these positions come with substantial research budgets. A Post Doctoral Scholar will carry out a vigorous program of independent research, write papers for refereed publication, travel to conferences and other venues to present the results, and interact with other researchers to develop new directions that will aid CCAPP.
