美国德克萨斯大学西南医学中心细胞生物学基因调控和功能基因组学博士后研究员职位

Postdoctoral Fellow in Cell Biology, Gene Regulation, and Functional Genomics

德克萨斯大学西南医学中心(UT Southwestern Medical Center)

We are looking for enthusiastic postdoctoral fellows to join our group (Jin Chen Lab, https://jinchenlab.com/) in the Cecil H. and Ida Green Center for Reproductive Biology Sciences (a department-level autonomous research center focused on gene regulation) at UT Southwestern Medical Center.

Our research is centered around functional genomics, translational control, and the emerging roles of the “unannotated genome”, which encodes a whole new class of uncharacterized microproteins. Our laboratory has several exciting projects related to investigating translational gene regulation and the functions of novel microproteins during tumorigenesis and other biological processes. These positions will also include opportunities to learn and build upon the latest methods in genomics, proteomics, biochemistry and biophysics, deep sequencing techniques, CRISPR screening, and bioinformatics.

Candidates must hold a Ph.D. and/or M.D. degree. Experience in biochemistry, cell biology, biophysics, genomics, bioinformatics, and/or cancer biology leading to publication in peer-reviewed journals is recommended. We especially value motivated, creative, and collaborative individuals, and we are committed to training these scientists to succeed in their future careers.

Interested individuals should send a CV, statement of interests, and a list of three references to: Jin.Chen@UTSouthwestern.edu.
