Job Description
One postdoctoral position in the field of tumor microenvironment is available in Dr. Jing Yang’s lab in the Department of Lymphoma and Myeloma at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. Fellow is being recruited for projects aimed at identifying biomarkers for therapeutic targets in multiple myeloma. The overarching goal of Dr. Yang’s translational research program is to study the mechanism underlying the pathogenesis of multiple myeloma, focusing on interaction of tumor cells with bone marrow stromal cells, and the role of bone marrow microenvironment in chemotherapy resistance. These studies aim to provide novel and potential therapeutic targets and tools for the treatment myeloma patients. We seek highly motivated, enthusiastic individuals who have a Ph.D. and/or M.D. degree with less than 2 years of postdoctoral experience in tumor biology, molecular biology, biochemistry, or related fields. Any candidates with a solid background in tumor microenvironment, metabolism, tumor metastasis, and signaling pathways are especially encouraged to apply.
