美国The Scripps Research Institute (TSRI)药物化学/化学生物学方向博士后招聘
Multiple positions in RNA chemical biology are available in the Disney group in the Department of Chemistry at The Scripps Research Institute (disneylaboratory.org). In particular, we seek postdoctoral students to study the toxicity associated with inherited amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) and develop targeted RNA degradation tools and related technologies. We are committed to each individual’s development to achieve their short term and long-term career goals.
Representative publications in these area from our group include:
• Studying the RNA repeats that cause genetically defined ALS and dementia: Neuron (2014) 83(5):1043-50; Cell Chemical Biology (2018) pii: S2451-9456(18)30378-7; doi: 10.1016/j.chembiol.2018.10.018.
• Developing targeted RNA degradation tools and related technologies: Journal of the American Chemical Society (2018) 140(22):6741-6744; ACS Chemical Biology (2018) 13(11):3065-3071; Cell Chemical Biology (2018) 25(9):1086-1094.e7; Nature Chemical Biology (2017) 13(2):188-193.
Successful candidates will have a proven track record of publishing in high impact journals, experience in nucleic acids, medicinal chemistry, or chemical biology, and can work successfully as part of an interdisciplinary team. Expertise in RNA-seq data analysis is also highly desirable.
Applicants should send their CV and three letters of reference to Prof. Matthew Disney at disney@scripps.edu.
