　　Applications are solicited for an individual to be appointed as a postdoctoral associate under the supervision of Mark E. Tuckerman. The research will focus on computational studies of the properties of deep eutectic solvents and their behavior at metallic surfaces using tools such as molecular dynamics, ab initio molecular dynamics, electronic structure calculations, and other advanced simulations techniques. This work will be carried out in collaboration with other computational and experimental groups comprising an Energy Frontiers Research Center funded by the Department of Energy and will, therefore, be part of a team effort.

　　The terms of employment which would be a year, with a possibility of renewal, include a competitive salary and other benefits. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis, and candidates will be considered until the position is filled.

　　Qualifications

　　Successful applicants will be highly motivated with an interest in working in theoretical and computational chemistry and must hold a Ph.D. degree in a related field. The ideal candidate will have research experience in electronic structure methods and molecular dynamics simulations. Additional background in statistical mechanics, liquid-state simulations, and the chemistry of metals is highly desirable.
