　　An opportunity has arisen for a post-doctoral researcher to join a synthetic biology project dedicated to controlling morphogenesis using optogenetic technologies. The work will involve design and construction of genetic devices (from proven modular elements already made in this lab), mammalian cell and tissue culture, imaging, and associated techniques.  All work will be done in culture (there is no in vivo work involved). The ideal applicant would have a very strong background in genetic engineering, coupled with a good knowledge of at least some of the following; cell or developmental biology, synthetic biology, tissue engineering and imaging.

　　This is a 24-month project (ending no later than 14/11/2020).
