Job Description

Position Summary
The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) at Rice University has one immediate opening for a Postdoctoral Researcher to design deep learning ASIC accelerators.

The focus will be on exploring algorithm-, architecture-, and circuit-level techniques to develop machine learning systems for resource-constrained platforms.

The successful applicant will assume a lead role in developing and testing the first-of-its-kind deep learning integrated microchip system, collaborating with exceptional Ph.D. students, faculty and collaborators from Rice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in integrated circuit (IC) design, and common knowledge in machine learning algorithms and sensing systems is a plus.

Education Required
PhD or other Doctoral Degree
