Key responsibilities:

• Carry out research activities in the field of software engineering for robotics robotics in the context of the aforementioned projects;
• Coordinate project related work including work package related tasks and reporting;
• Dissemination of project results in leading journals and conference in the robotics community;
• Proposal management (i.e., highlighting potential opportunities, helping to form consortia and assistance in proposal writing).

Requirements:

• Ph.D. or similar experience in the fields of robotics, model-driven engineering or software architectures;
• Experience in developing robotics software, e.g., kinematics/dynamics, control of actuators/sensors, distrib-uted systems;
• Good programming skills;
• Experience with robotics middleware (eg. ROS, YARP, OROCOS);
• Fluency in spoken and written English, German is a plus, but not required;
• Willingness to travel;
• High motivation and willingness to work in an international and interdisciplinary team.
