Applications are invited from talented, motivated and highly committed researchers for a Postdoctoral Research Assistant position in the Department of Bionteractions and Crop Protection to join a new exciting project on the genetic improvement of mungbean, one of the most popular pulse crops in India, for resistance to fungal diseases Cercospora Leaf Spot and Powdery Mildew.

The project is a partnership between Rothamsted Research and two research organisations in India and is supported by the Newton Bhabha Fund and BBSRC within the Pulses & oilseeds research initiative.

Rothamsted Research is a world-leading, non-profit research centre that focuses on strategic agricultural science to the benefit of farmers and society worldwide.
