Duke University, Durham, North Carolina, United States
Postdoctoral Researcher positions are available in the Department of Pathology and Duke Cancer Institute at Duke University School of Medicine. These positions are expected to start on October 1, 2018 under the direction of Dr. Qianben Wang. The laboratory currently uses state-of-the-art genomic, epigenomic, proteomic and other approaches to study the epigenetic mechanisms driving progression of hormone-dependent cancers. (PNAS, 2018 May 29. [Epub ahead of print]; Nature Genetics, 47(10):1149-1157, 2015; EMBO J, 34(4): 502-516, 2015; Nature Communications, 6:8323, 2015). Applicants must have a Ph.D. (or equivalent) and preference will be given to those who have a solid background in molecular biology, cancer biology, biochemistry or genomics. The candidates will conduct independent research on the genomics and epigenetics of hormone-dependent cancers under the guidance of the Principal Investigator. The candidates will also be encouraged to develop new research projects and submit grant proposals as part of their own career development.
To be considered for the position, please send a cover letter, CV, a summary of research accomplishments and future plans, and contact information for three references to “qianben.wang@duke.edu” with the e-mail subject “postdoctoral researcher application”.
