Job Description

The Department of Medicine - Endocrinology at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine has an exciting opportunity for a Postdoctoral Associate. This position will support investigations that focus on the role autonomic innervations play in regulating hormone secretion from the human pancreatic islet. The successful candidate should have a strong scientific background in molecular physiology and demonstrated scientific problem solving ability and creativity. 

The minimum qualifications for this position are as follows: Ph.D. in a life science discipline. Prefer one year of relevant work experience with evidence of tangible contributions to the dissemination of new research information. Strong scientific background in molecular physiology and demonstrated scientific problem solving ability and creativity. Experience in noninvasive in vivo imaging is highly desired. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and publication records, obtained funding as postdoctoral fellows, and must be able to work in a highly collaborative manner.
