Postdoctoral fellow positions are available to study molecular mechanisms of pain and synaptic transmission and plasticity. Candidates should have solid graduate training in neuroscience, biochemistry, or epigenetics and a strong publication record using molecular biology, imaging, patch-clamp electrophysiological recordings, or proteomics (protein-protein interaction) approaches. Ongoing studies include epigenetic and transcriptional control of gene expression in chronic pain, ion channel physiology, synaptic plasticity, and cardiovascular control and hypertension development.
