美国洛杉叽LSU医学院语言发展的分子机制方向博后职位招聘
Job Description
A postdoctoral position is available in the Neuroscience Center at the LSU School of Medicine. Our laboratory studies the molecular and cellular mechanisms underlying speech and language development and related neurodevelopmental disorders including autisms using songbirds as a model. In particular, we study neural circuit development, sensitive period plasticity, and vocal learning in zebra finches using a multidisciplinary approach. Current projects include investigating gene and epigenetic regulation of dendritic and synaptic development, neurogenesis, and vocal learning behavior.
Energetic and self-motivated individuals with a recent PhD in molecular neuroscience or related fields are encouraged to apply. Broad experience and expertise in molecular cloning, gene regulation, epigenetics, Western blot, viral work, immunostaining, confocal imaging, and animal behavior are especially desirable. Excellent written and oral communication skills and organizational skills are required.
