Postdoctoral/Senior Scientist : Detroit, United States

Two postdoctoral fellowships and a Senior Scientist position are available in the Perinatal Research Program in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Wayne State University School of Medicine, to study placental development, immunology of the maternal-fetal interface, and the vascular complications associated with various pregnancy disorders. Applicants must have a PhD or equivalent degree. Research experience in areas of tissue-specific gene targeting, transgenic design, immunology, developmental biology, placental development, mouse embryo handling and transfer, and mouse models is desired, but not essential. Applicants for the Senior Scientist position should have at least five years of postdoctoral training experience and excellent manuscript/grant/scientific writing skills.
