Postdoctoral position in electrophysiology of 3D cellular systems : Napoli, Italy

The Center integrates multidisciplinary expertise ranging from Engineering, Material Science, Chemistry, Biology and Pharmacology. Laboratories are equipped with cutting-edge instrumentations for molecular and material synthesis, micro- and nano-fabrication, surface and morphological characterization, along with state-of-art equipment for cell and molecular biology.

We are looking for a postdoctoral candidate with strong experimental experience, who will participate in a project on chip-based electrophysiology of 3D cellular assemblies working at the interface between biological and electrical systems.

The ideal candidate should have:
- PhD in Engineering/Material Science, or related disciplines with a strong academic background and publication record;
- Consolidate experience on neuronal/cardiac in vitro electrophysiology, preferably chip-based technology
- Sound knowledge of characterization of chip-cell coupling and cell-material interface
Experience in cell culture will be also taken in great consideration.
