英国博士后研究员/应用物理学治疗仪器
The Particle Physics research group in Liverpool is looking for a highly motivated individual to work with us on the development of a high resolution, high speed, 3-dimensional (3D) tissue equivalent phantom for therapy planning and dose delivery mapping for treating cancer with energetic protons (proton therapy). This totally novel instrument will be developed in collaboration with Proton Partners International (PPI). You will have a PhD degree in physics, electronics engineering or equivalent and have experience in development, characterisation or data analysis from silicon detector systems (pixel or micro-strips), experience with simulation of interaction of particles with matter (preferably using GEANT 4) and with data acquisition of sensor data. A willingness to travel within the UK and overseas is essential. The post is available until 31 May 2019.
