Responsibilities

As a member of our Research Teams in Frankfurt/Main you will be part of an interdisciplinary team engaged in the generation of renal cell culture models for kidney disease modelling.

Your task will be to develop protocols for the differentiation of human induced pluripotent stem cells into different renal cell types and establish disease-relevant assays to support drug discovery projects in the field of diabetic kidney disease.

Requiremts and Qualifications

- PhD in Biology / Life Sciences
- Strong expertise in stem cell biology with the focus on iPSC differentiation
- Strong background in molecular biology techniques
- Ready to engage in disease relevant assay development
- Knowledge in kidney biology is a plus
- Very good English language skills, knowledge of German is a plus
- Good communication skills, oral and written
- Strong team player with analytical skills
