美国巴尔的摩DNA滴定酶博士职位
The National Institute on Aging (NIA), a major research component of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), is recruiting for a postdoctoral position in The Section on DNA Helicases, Laboratory of Molecular Gerontology. Research in the Laboratory of Molecular Gerontology involves the study of genomic stability maintenance. The focus of our group is to investigate the functions of DNA helicases defective in premature aging and cancer disorders.
The objective of this research is to understand the molecular and cellular roles of human DNA helicases in pathways that are important for the maintenance of genome stability. Genetic and biochemical approaches are used to characterize the roles of helicases in cellular DNA metabolic pathways and the mechanisms of unwinding by human DNA helicases.
Interested candidates must have a Ph.D. or M.D. with proven postdoctoral experience and research experience in molecular biology, and training in mammalian cell culture techniques. Salary is commensurate with experience and accomplishments.
