Applications are invited for the post of Post-Doctoral Research Fellow Level 1 or Level 2 at University College Dublin’s School of Computer Science.

The multidisciplinary Acclimatise project seeks to provide this evidence base for Dublin, the capital of Ireland. The project is underpinned by an integrated approach to coastal zone management and the successful applicant will be required to assist in the design and development of the software infrastructure necessary to underpin such effective coastal zone management. This will involve the establishment of an effective data capture infrastructure through sensor selection, deployment and incorporation within an appropriate Internet of Things (IoT) infrastructure. In addition, it will involve the design and implementation of appropriate databases/repositories together with mechanisms which support the analysis of data (Machine Learning/Data Mining) in order to establish correlations between data parameters and their effect upon FIB.

Salary

PD1: €34,975 - €38,063 per annum

PD2: €39,155 - €42,630 per annum

Appointment on the above ranges will be dependent on qualifications and experience

This appointment may be made at either UCD Post-Doctoral Research Fellow level 1 or level 2 depending on the relevant experience and qualifications of the successful candidate.
