A Postdoctoral position is available in the Laboratory of Dr. Yuan Wang http://www.ans.msu.edu/people/yuan_wang at the Department of Animal Science, Michigan State University, East Lasing, Michigan. In the Wang lab, we have broad interest in dissecting cellular events that regulate self-renewal and differentiation of pluripotent and germline stem cells. Empowered with iPSC technology, in vivo mouse knockout models, and long-term in vitro culture system of spermatogonial stem cells, we aim to improve our understanding of the underlying pathology of human male infertility.

• We are looking for a creative, accomplished and highly motivated applicant who is interested in research involving genetic programs that regulate stem cell pluripotency and impact germ cell development.

Requirements
• Ph.D. (or doctoral degree equivalent) in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology or Developmental Biology with a track record of publication in peer-reviewed journals;
• Expertise in stem cell research, epigenetics, metabolism, or Developmental Biology (especially in germ cell development) is preferred;
• Ability to perform molecular, cellular protocols, and histology studies utilizing mammalian cells (including but not restricted to pluripotent stem cells, germline stem cells) and mouse disease models;
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
