The University of Miami Institute for Bioethics and Health Policy seeks a post-doctoral fellow to help advance its work in ethics and health information technology or biomedical informatics. The position is for one year, starting as soon as possible, with compensation based on NIH post-doc salary guidelines.   The successful candidate will have a recent doctorate in philosophy, bioethics, medicine, nursing, biomedical informatics, computing, public health or epidemiology, or law. Knowledge of or familiarity with electronic health records, clinical decision support systems, public health informatics and/or laboratory computing are highly desired, along with demonstrable interest in the ethical, social and legal issues they raise. We seek applicants with skills in academic writing, grant writing and effective communication. The ability to function independently and solid interpersonal skills are required.    Applicants should submit a CV, a writing sample and the names of three references.
