美国波士顿博后研究员
A postdoctoral researcher position is available immediately to study stem cell biology, epigenetics, DNA damage and breast cancer initiation and progression.
Post doc fellows will undertake a variety of activities, including: presenting seminars, conducting research, providing methodological and analytical expertise, writing collaborative papers/project, and supervising students.
The minimum stay is one year with a maximum depending on the nature of the project. The projects may focus on identification of novel breast cancer drivers and metastasis, identification of networks that control cell fate decision and differentiation and how the differentiation state of the cell of origin determines the genetic landscape of a cancer. However, projects focused on understanding how mRNA processing can drive cancer formation, genomic library screening, early detection, hydrogel synthesis and 3D printing and synthetic chemistry are also available.
The position requires experience in cellular and molecular biology, such as the experimental technology on molecular mechanisms that control malignant transformation, tumor progression and metastasis. However, previous experience in knock-out and transgenic animals, RNA biology, epigenetics, computational biology, cancer biology and cancer genomics would be helpful.
We are also welcome the candidates, who are trained in other fields such as mammary gland biology, developmental biology, stem cells, genetics, chemistry and genomics, to apply these positions.
