It has already recruited 6 international PIs, respectively from the United States, Australia, Germany, England and Finland, and is expected to host about 20-25 PIs within the coming 1 or 2 years.
Strength of the institute also lies in its rich clinical resources, demonstrated by its success in building up the nation's biggest birth cohort biobank program.

• Stem cell biology and clinical application
• Genomic science
• Oncology
• Cardiovascular diseases

For successful PI candidates, the hospital will offer research lab space with needed equipment, as well as personnel support (including technical staff, graduate students and postdoctoral fellows). Other benefits include relocation, employment and education support for family members.
