A full-time postdoctoral position is available in a research laboratory in the Department of Medicine, Division of Rheumatology at University of Illinois at Chicago. The successful candidate will participate in studies to define the mechanism by which rheumatoid arthritis (RA) joint inflammation and bone erosion is modulated.
We are seeking highly motivated and collaborative individual capable of independent reasoning and excited about learning new technologies. The candidate should have excellent writing and communication skills and be familiar with techniques such as flow cytometry, cell isolation from peripheral blood, tissue culture, ELISA, RT-PCR, animal handling and preferably be knowledgeable about animal models of RA. This job is open for recent graduate applicants with PhD or applicants with couple years of experience. Having experience in macrophage and bone biology, angiogenesis and animal injection is a plus.
