美国田纳西大学健康科学中心病理学博士后职位
Postdoctoral Fellow/Pathology : Memphis, TN, United States
A postdoctoral position is available in the laboratory of Zhaohui Wu, M.D., Ph.D. in the Department of Pathology, and Center for Cancer Research at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC), Memphis, TN. The primary research focus will be investigation on how the DNA damage-activated transcription factors and epigenetic chromatin modifications regulate the therapeutic response in cancer cells (Oncogene 2016; EMBO J 2013; EMBO J 2011; Mol Cell 2010). The crosstalk between oncogenic mutations and tumor response to immunotherapies is also among our research interests. We are using both in vitro cell culture systems and in vivo mouse models to delineate various signaling networks and their pathological outcomes in cancer progression and therapeutic response. The approaches used in the lab range widely and include molecular and cell biology techniques, protein biochemistry, genetic-modified and disease animal models as well as bioinformatics analysis.
Qualifications
Recent Ph.D. and/or M.D. with research strength in one or more of the following areas: genetics, cell and molecular biology, biochemistry, cancer biology/genetics; proven records in research in the related fields; self-motivated; willing to learn and to collaborate; excellent technical and communication skills; prior experience with developing/using genetic-modified mouse models and bioinformatics is preferred but not required.
Interested candidates should send via email in a single pdf file including CV, contact information for at least three references, and a one-page narrative of prior research experience and goals of postdoctoral training to: Zhaohui Wu, M.D., Ph.D. Associate Professor of Pathology, University of Tennessee Health Science Center.
