Postdoctoral Fellow/Physiology : Memphis, TN, United States

Postdoctoral positions are immediately available to study the role of cellular signaling in cardiac remodeling. Experience in two or more of the following areas is preferred: rodent animal models, protein-protein interactions, proteomics, patch-clamp electrophysiology, confocal microscopy/live-cell imaging, flow cytometry, cloning and RT-PCR. The successful candidate must have published in peer-reviewed international scientific journals.

This position offers an outstanding research training opportunity, with strong mentoring support for highly motivated and ambitious candidates who wish to pursue innovative research in the field of cell signaling and cardiac diseases. The candidate will conduct experiments related to a funded NIH grant, attending and presenting at scientific meetings, and writing drafts of manuscripts and grant proposals. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to design his/her own related experiments, develop new techniques, and develop new collaborations with other researchers.

Qualifications
