The position:

Launch your research career with a CSIRO Postdoctoral Fellowship and carry out impactful research of strategic importance. As a CSIRO Postdoc, you will call on your experience in molecular developmental biology and your cytology skills in reproductive biology tissues, to help reach milestones in an innovative, world class project.

Funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, the Capturing Heterosis project will involve analyses of meiosis and early embryo development at the cellular and chromosomal level to determine if plant reproduction is altered from a sexual to an asexual state. Owing to terms of the fellowship, candidates must not have more than 3.5 years of relevant Postdoctoral experience.

Location: Urrbrae (Adelaide) South Australia
Salary: AU $81K to AU $88K plus up to 15.4% superannuation
