Postdoctoral Position in Gametogenesis : Philadelphia, PA, United States
A postdoctoral position is available at the University of Pennsylvania to study mammalian in vitro spermatogenesis and meiosis using genomic, genetic, lentiviral, and RNAi approaches. Our group focuses on the study of germline development and meiosis in mice and humans as well as genetic causes of human male infertility [Genes & Dev., 2015;29(6):617-629; EMBO Mol Med. 2015;7(9):1198-1210]. Meiosis, a cell division unique to germ cells, allows the reciprocal exchange of genetic material between paternal and maternal genomes.
