Postdoctoral Positions in Protein Biochemistry and Molecular Biology : Chapel Hill, NC, United States

A post-doctoral position is available immediately in the Department of Biology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill to study enzymes in the vitamin K cycle. We use basic approaches of molecular biology, protein biochemistry, enzyme kinetics, and cell biology to address the function and structure relationships of the vitamin K cycle enzymes. We also use membrane protein complex characterization and genome-wide gene targeting to identify the as-yet-unknown enzymes in the cycle.
